Farmington Avenue - Application of Attorney Michael Reiner seeking
approval of an alternate parking scheme under the provisions of the West
Hartford Code of Ordinances Section 177-32G. A "mutual parking agreement"
is being proposed between the West Hartford Motor Inn and the newly renovated
office building at 901 Farmington Avenue. Under the terms of the proposed
agreement these two properties would "time share" available
parking on both sides. (Submitted for TPZ review and possible decision
on March 5, 2001; rescheduled to March 12, 2001. Discussion and decision
tabled to April 2, 2001.) 5. Inland Wetlands
and Watercourses Regulations - Public hearing and decision scheduled
for March 5, 2001. Proposed amendments (dated January 5, 2001) are primarily
based upon requirements imposed by changes in Connecticut State Statutes
and Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection Regulations. (Scheduled
for IWWA public hearing and decision on March 5, 2001; rescheduled to
March 12, 2001. Hearing tabled to April 2, 6. 1157 R Farmington
Avenue - Application (IWW #693) of Tai Soo Kim, R.O., by 1157 Farmington
Avenue Associates, Paul Butler, contact person, requesting approval of
an amendment to the official Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Map. The
proposed amendment is based on an on-site soil survey prepared by a certified
soil scientist. (Submitted to the IWWA on February 6, 2001. Required IWW
public hearing scheduled for March 5, 2001; rescheduled to March 12, 2001.
Hearing tabled to April 2, 2001 at the applicant's request. Application
withdrawn by applicant's letter of March 26, 2001.) 7. 1157 R Farmington
Avenue - Application (IWW #694) of Tai Soo Kim, R.O., By 1157 Farmington
Avenue Associates, Paul Butler, contact person, requesting approval of
an Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Permit to conduct certain regulated
activities which may have an adverse impact on a wetland and watercourse
area. The applicant is proposing the construction of a one-family home
with related site grading and driveway paving. Much of the proposed regulated
activities will take place within 150 feet of a mapped wetland. (Submitted
for IWWA receipt on February 6, 2001. Determined to be significant and
set for IWW public hearing on March 5, 2001; rescheduled to March 12,
2001. Hearing tabled to April 2, 2001 at the applicant's request. Application
