WEST HARTFORD PLAN AND ZONING COMMISSION ACTIONS

The Town of West Hartford Plan and Zoning Commission, also acting as the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency, at a Regular Meeting on Wednesday, July 2, 2001 took the following actions:

INLAND WETLANDS PUBLIC HEARING CONTINUED TO AUGUST 6, 2001:

854 Mountain Road - Application (IWW #695) of Worth Avenue Associates, LLC, Record Owner, Michael Chaffin, project contact person, requesting approval of an Inland Wetland and Watercourses Permit to conduct certain regulated activities which may have an impact on a wetlands and watercourse area. (Tumbledown Brook) The proposed regulated activities include replacement of an existing bridge/brook crossing with a new bridge brook crossing; improvement of bridge approaches within areas not designated as wetland soils development of a non-wetland soils area east of Tumbledown Brook within a regulated buffer area with sixteen (16) residential luxury condominium dwelling units. The residential units will be placed outside the mapped 100-year flood plain. The existing access driveway will be replaced with a new driveway. (Submitted for IWWA receipt on March 5, 2001; rescheduled to March 12, 2001. Determined to be significant and scheduled for hearing on April 2, 2001; re-scheduled to May 7, 2001 at the applicant's request further continued to June 4, 2001 and further continued to July 2, 2001 for additional technical review at applicant's request.)
