The West
Hartford Town Plan and Zoning Commission also acting as the Inland Wetlands
and Watercourses Agency, at a Regular Meeting on May 5, 2003 took the
following actions:

WETLAND PERMITS APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS:

Brookline Drive - Application (IWW #750) of Evan and Lisa Berman
requesting approval of an inland wetlands and watercourse permit
to conduct certain regulated activities which may have an adverse
impact on a wetland and watercourse area. The applicants are proposing
an addition to the rear of an existing one-dwelling unit, a new
kitchen, family room, and master bedroom/with bath. The expanded
footprint of the building will add approximately 450 s.f. of impervious
surface to the developed lot. (Submitted for IWWA receipt on March
3, 2003. Determined to be significant and set for public hearing
on April 7, 2003; rescheduled to May 5, 2003. Permit granted with
conditions.)

certain regulated activities which may have an impact on a wetland
and watercourse area (Wood Pond and Mallard Pond). The applicant
is requesting permission to construct a dock in Mallard Pond, another
dock in Wood Pond a 900 sq. ft. deck with pergola, a water garden
and fireplace all within the regulated wetland area. (Submitted
for IWWA receipt on April 7, 2003. Determined to be significant
and set for public hearing and decision on May 5, 2003. Permit granted
with conditions.)

Mountain Road - Application (IWW #756) of Worth Avenue Associates,
LLC, Michael Chaffin, applicant requesting approval of Inland Wetland
and Watercourse Permit to conduct certain regulated activities which
may have an adverse impact on a wetland and watercourse area (Tumbledown
Brook). The applicant is proposing a 14 unit (or a 16 unit) one-family
residential development on a 16.27 acre parcel of land. Regulated
activities proposed involve: a) replacement of an existing bridge-brook
crossing with a redesigned bridge/brook crossing; b) construction
of a flood control weir structure within the 100 year flood area;
c) site grading and construction for roadways, access drive and
individual home sites. (Submitted for IWWA receipt on April 7, 2003.
Determined to be significant and set for public hearing and decision
on May 5, 2003; rescheduled to June 2, 2003 at the applicant's request.)
