Parking for Visitors with Library & Town Business
Visitors to Noah Webster Library
Visitors to Noah Webster Library may park at Isham Garage located at 17 Isham Road. The library will validate parking for 2 hours. Visitors can bring their parking ticket to the Circulation Desk. Library validation only applies to those who park in Isham Garage. Click here for the map of the area
Handicap Parking is available for Library visitors. There are 4 spaces on South Main Street, located by the front entrance of the Library, reserved for handicap parking. In addition, there are designated handicap parking spaces on each floor of Isham Garage, by the elevator and escalator.
VISITORS TO TOWN HALL and POLICE DEPARTMENT
Visitors to West Hartford Town Hall and Police Department may park in Town Hall Surface Lot. There are 2 Entrance/Exit points at Town Hall Surface Lot: (1) South Main Street and (2) Raymond Road. Pull a ticket to lift the gate and proceed into the lot. Click here for the map of the area
The first 30 minutes of parking at Town Hall lot is free during the Town’s business hours. To exit through South Main, visitors can insert the ticket in the Exit Station and the gate will be lifted. To exit through Raymond, visitors can hand the booth attendant their parking ticket.
For business meetings exceeding 30 minutes, visitors may have their ticket validated by the servicing department for the duration of the visit. To exit through South Main, visitors can insert the validated ticket in the Exit Station and the gate will be lifted. To exit through Raymond, visitors can hand the booth attendant their validated parking ticket and the attendant would process the transaction accordingly.
Handicap parking spaces are conveniently located at the entrances of Town Hall and Police Department.
