Prepaid Access Cards New!
Pre-paid Parking Access cards are now available with West Hartford Municipal Parking. The prepaid card serves as a cashless, paperless method to access any of the municipal parking facilities. The card would alleviate one from paying by cash or credit card, providing the customer additional convenience to park while visiting West Hartford Center.
How to obtain a pre-paid card:
Interested parties can set up an account with West Hartford Municipal Parking to prepay for 40 hours of parking to park in any of our facilities. One can purchase a HID access card to enter/exit our surface lot or garage. With each use, the parking fee will be deducted from the individual’s prepaid account, based on market rate fee structure. When the account reaches a minimum balance of $7 or less, it will automatically be reloaded via credit card (MC or VISA) for another 40-hour block of time.

- Your account will be setup and the requested access card(s) will be available at the WHMP Management Office for you to pick up
Schedule of Fees:
Purchase of an HID card: $25
Prepay 40-hour parking at market rate: $60
Replacement fee for lost/damaged/stolen card: $25
