Requirements for the Elderly/Disabled Homeowners Program
Homeowners, 65 years and older, who meet specific guidelines, may be eligible for property tax relief. Below are the general requirements for the program. Elderly
Homeowner Program Checklist
The state requires
proof of all income. Please submit the following when applying for the
Elderly Homeowner Program:
- A copy of the
1099 form from Social Security
- A copy of a
COMPLETE Income Tax Return for 2009 including
ALL schedules
- If no Income
Tax Return was filed, submit copies of ALL 1099 forms
- Copies of receipts
for Rental Income, if applicable W-2 forms, if applicable
- W-2 forms, if
applicable
