Fire Department Information

The department consists of 94 staff and suppression personnel. There are five (5) fire stations that house two engine companies and three combination engine-ladder companies (quint). The department provides service in the areas of fire prevention and education, fire suppression, fire investigation, heavy rescue, handling hazardous materials incidents, fire inspections, code enforcement and emergency medical service. The department is also a vital link in the emergency management (civil preparedness) services provided in the community.
