Dial-A-Ride
Medical/Dental
Appointments
You may
schedule rides for medical appointments as far as one week in advance.
Requests received with less than two days notice prior to your appointment
may not be able to be accommodated.
Please
remember that out-of-town transportation is provided for medical and dental
appointments only. You are encouraged to schedule appointments after 9:30am
to ensure your arrival.
- Daily service
is available to Hartford hospitals (Hartford Hospital, St. Francis
and Mt. Sinai campus).
- Transportation
is provided on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to UCONN (John Dempsey
Hospital).
- Transportation
to medical offices in Bloomfield (in the areas of Cottage Grove
Road, Northwestern Drive, and Jolly Road) is available on Tuesday
and Thursday.
- Limited transportation
is available to Newington Veterans Hospital and Newington Dialysis
Center on Willard Avenue.
- The use of
Dial-A-Ride for transportation to or from the Emergency Room is
inappropriate and will not be provided.
