Juvenile
Review Board
The Juvenile
Review Board serves in an advisory capacity to the West Hartford Police
Department. The board reviews juvenile offenses, works with offenders
to develop an understanding of the consequences of their actions, and
ultimately makes recommendations for appropriate restitution and required
community service. The board includes representatives from Human Services,
the police department, schools, the juvenile court, the Youth Services
Bureau and the clergy. Social workers oversee the efforts of juveniles
and their families in fulfilling their designated assignments.
