February 1: Groundhog Day Special |
Join us at Westmoor Park from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. as we take a fun look at the tradition of Punxatawny Phil and learn all about groundhogs. This session is intended for children ages 6 to 8 year olds and pre-registration is required. Fee is $15 for residents and $16 for non-residents. Call 860-561-8260 for more information. |

February 6: Bubblemania |
Come to Elmwood Community Center to experience the fantastic entertainment of comic Bubble-ologist Casey Carle. Watch as he encases a member of the audience in a bubble! This program is best suited for children ages 5 to 12, parents and grandparents. Tickets are $7 per person (children must be accompanied by a paying adult) and must be purchased in advance. Show you care about our feathered friends during the cold months! Join other bird lovers at Westmoor Park from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. to learn about birds and their winter lifestyles, and make treats for them to enjoy. | February 28: Jewish Cultural Celebration | The Klezmen provide the music and Crown Market provides the catering for this popular event at Elmwood Senior Center.
