“Step Up to Health” is a national program designed to promote healthy lifestyles. Here in West Hartford, the Human & Leisure Services department is encouraging all residents to improve and maintain their health by participating in the wide range of fitness programs offered throughout the year at the town’s award-winning recreational facilities. You can start by sampling some of the facilities with the new “Step Up to Health” Gift Packages. There are 10 different packages to choose from including great golf deals at Buena Vista and Rockledge Golf Courses; admissions to Cornerstone Aquatics Center and Veterans Memorial Skating Rink; and fitness programs at Elmwood Community Center, Elmwood Senior Center and West Hartford Senior Center.
