Rental
Rates
Rental rates are determined by the type of group renting the facility
(commercial business, non-profit tax-exempt organization or private
group), the numbers of hours rented, the equipment requested, and the
amount of out-of-pocket expenses to be incurred by Elmwood Community
Center in accommodating the event. Rental Rates are available from the
Facility Manager.
Security
Deposits
Depending on the type and size of your function, you may be required
to pay a security deposit. The security deposit must be in the form
of a check, payable to Elmwood Community Center, and must be paid ten
business days in advance of the event. Security deposits (less any amounts
charged for damages) will be returned within seven business days following
the function.
Cancellations/Refund
Policy
Elmwood Community Center maintains a "No Refund" policy. Credits may
be issued, however, if you provide the Facility Manager with advance
notice of your cancellation. Credits may be used toward another rental
at the facility within a one year period. To receive a credit, you must
provide notice as follows:
- cancellations
of daytime events (weekdays) must be made by 4:00 on the preceding
day.
- cancellations
of evening rentals (weekdays) must be made by 4:00 p.m. on the
day of the event.
- cancellations
for weekend rentals must be made by 4:00 p.m. on the preceding
Friday.
