  Annual Labor Day Concert with the Hartford Pops

The annual Labor Day Weekend Concert will be held on Monday, September 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall parking lot (in the northwest corner closest to Sovereign Bank).  Attendees should enter the parking lot from either the South Main Street entrance or the Raymond Road entrance and park as directed by staff.  Parking is free.


 


The concert will feature The Hartford Pops Band performing a repertoire of Hollywood hits, Broadway favorites and patriotic marches.  The concert is presented by the Music Performance Fund and West Hartford Leisure Services, and is sponsored by Farmington Savings Bank; Hartford Magazine and West Hartford Life; Mercy Community Health; Molloy Funeral Home; and RE/MAX Premier, REALTORS.  The concert is free and open to the public.  Snacks or picnic suppers are encouraged (alcohol is not permitted). Please bring your own lawn chairs and a non-perishable food item to benefit the Town That Cares program to feed the hungry. The rain location is the Town Hall auditorium.  Call 860-561-7509 to verify the location if the weather is questionable.
