West Hartford Business Associations

Park Road Association

The Park Road Association is a non-profit organization made up of businesses, property owners, residents and individuals. Its an advocate for the neighborhood and interacts with state and local government as needed to benefit of the neighborhood. The Association is involved in many activities which address safety, business promotion and quality of life issues.

Members get to share their views at monthly meetings at which they also receive updates from the West Hartford Police Department and other governmental agencies.The Association meets on the third Friday of the month at 8:00 a.m. at the Prospect Cafe, 345 Prospect Avenue. The Park Road Association is an affiliate of the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce. Major annual events include the Park Road Parade, the Celebrity Breakfast and Park Road Awards Night.

Elmwood Business Association

The Elmwood Business Association is a non-profit organization made up of business owners and representatives from the Elmwood section of West Hartford. At monthly meetings, members discuss activity in the area including police, government, community and business related issues. Representatives from the Town and State government are frequently in attendance.  Meetings are held the first Friday of the month at 8:30 a.m. at The Corner Pug Restaurant, 1046 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06110 (on the corner of New Park Avenue). Home Design District

The Home Design District is a group of home improvement, home décor, and construction related businesses located in the New Park Avenue area of West Hartford, Connecticut.  The Home Design District uses the collective power of its businesses to market, promote, and brand the area as a prime destination for consumers seeking quality goods and services to improve their homes and businesses.
