Recruit Badge-Pinning & Promotional Ceremony February 10, 2012

The West Hartford Fire Department is pleased to announce the following promotions:


Captains Richard Winn and John Deckers promoted to Battalion Chiefs. We were honored to have United States Senator of Connecticut Richard Bluementhal speak at our Ceremony.	Lieutenants John Sokolowski and John Griffin were promoted to Captains.


Promoted to Fire Lieutenant Walter Pastet, Eric Munsell, David Walker and James Pascarelli.	Pictured here with Senator Blumenthal are newly- promoted Apparatus Operators Kerry Warren, Kevin McAllister, Cheryl Billow and Richard Shea.

	...AND WELCOME TO OUR NEWLY-HIRED FIREFIGHTERS... Jason Preuss from Bolton, Brian Marren from Cromwell, Anthony Leca from Watertown and Lucas Jaccheo from Danielson. After 2 weeks of orientation and training, the recruit firefighters were assigned to their Group and Station.
