**Please note, as of August 22, 2014, the cemetery office is being renovated. There is a temporary office set up on the first floor of Town Hall. There is also a temporary phone number 860-561-8136.
Fairview Cemetery is administered by the Department of Public Works. The on-site office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., and 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Cemetery rules and regulations booklet lists general guidelines, sale and care of lots, planting, interments, cemetery traffic, erection of memorials, and veterans lots.
A limited number of plots are available for purchase. Only veterans who are or were residents of West Hartford are eligible to purchase plots for themselves and their spouses on a pre-needed basis. (please click on the Veterans link for full details on eligibility requirements.) All other prior or current residents may purchase plots only on an immediate-need basis.
