How Does the Collection Work?

It couldn't be easier.  Pack up your household hazardous waste and bring it to the collection site on the specified date and we'll handle the rest. Oh, and please remember:

• Leave all product and packaging labels intact or clearly label containers.

• Do not mix different products together.

• Pack containers in disposable boxes or bins.

• If a container is leaking, place it in a larger, non leaking covered container and label what the product it.

• STAY IN YOUR CAR WHILE THE CHEMICALS ARE REMOVED!

• NO SMOKING IN YOUR CAR.  Most wastes are flammable.

• Be prepared to wait between 5 and 30 minutes.

• If possible, leave children an pets at home.  Do not put your Household HazWaste in the backseat with your children or pets.
