Office of The Corporation Counsel
The Corporation Counsel's office provides legal advice for all matters relating to the Town, the School Department and the Board of Education, provides appropriate liaison with legal counsel for the Town's insurance carrier and for outside legal counsel, including labor counsel and bond counsel. This office also provides representation to the Town in Court and before Town and outside administrative agencies. The office provides legal services to the Town departments and agencies, but does not provide private legal advice to residents or the public at large.
