Notary Public
Notary public services are available in the Council Clerk's Office during regular business hours. You must make a personal appearance when signing a document and bring along proper identification, such as a driver's license or a photo ID. Notary fee for documents is $5.00 per signature.
Renewal certificates for notaries residing in West Hartford must be brought into our office personally, a signature card must be signed and registered with us. There is a $10.00 registration fee.
If you need to verify that a notary is registered with the Town of West Hartford, certificates of verification are available for $2.00.
