The Advisory Commission for Persons with Disabilities improves public awareness and understanding of the special needs, as well as the rights, of persons with disabilities.

There are 11 members on this commission who serve a 3-year term. The commission meets on the first Wednesday of every other month, unless noted on meeting schedule.
